Description
All Scrum certifications, with the exception of the free Fundamentals, are valid for three years. Therefore, in order to continue to declare possession of the relevant qualification and use it in one’s work, it is necessary to take a simplified and unproctored recertification exam within this deadline to certify the continued possession of the relevant knowledge. Alternatively, the certification can also be maintained by obtaining another Scrum certification, always within the three-year expiry date. If one of these two actions is not carried out before the expiry of the three years (recertification exam or achievement of another certification), the original certification (even if already subject to a previous three-year renewal) definitively lapses, so that the interested party, if intends to acquire it again, he will have to undergo the relevant full and proctored examination from scratch (i.e. with remote supervision).
